Makeup Challange Two

Hey everyone!

I hope you are excited for my second post of the makeover madness series! I put in a clue of what it was going to be on my last post, it said that two colors were used, but you can use more then two products. Questionable thoughts were probably flying, but here is the post!

I was playing around with different lip colors for spring and summer and found one that I am kind of adoring. It is two toned lips! You put a bright, bold color all over and then another color in the center and blend out. This gives a really cool effect that varies depending on what products you use.

I used Vegas Volt lipstick for my first color. It is a bright coral/red that is so pretty on! I love this color.

Then I took some of melon pigment and placed it in the middle of my lip. I then used my finger to blend it out.

My clue said that you can use more then two products, but only two colors. This means that you can always top it off with a clear gloss! I just used a basic one, not sure what brand it was!

I hope you enjoyed this, tell me how you tried this makeup challenge!

Polka Dot Crazy!

I was looking at the Forever 21 website, and I noticed that there were alot of polka dots. Then at school the next day I noticed many people wearing ploka dots. So I wondered, is polka dots the new trend? If it is, here are some items that have lots of polka dots.

First these polka dot flats.

Next is this gorgeus polka dot dress. The white and light blue go perfectly together and this will look great in spring, and summer. This dress is great because it can be
casual, or with the right accesories it can be formal.

Then there is this pretty orange shirt that would go great with a pair of dark jeans and sandals.

Then there is also this polka dot skirt.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Feel free to comment and tell us what you think. Tell your friends about this blog, because once we get 2,000 viewers we will have a contest! Also, please follow our blog!

Top Knot!

Hey everyone!

If you have seen my last post on the spring/summer dressed I have been looking at on Forever 21, you may have seen my hair comment. I said that a ton of the models on the website were wearing the top know style, and I thought it was so cute! It is really easy, here is how I do mine.

The first step is to gather your hair together like you would for a high ponytail and twist it. This is a super strange pic, I know, but this is the one that I thought best explained it! The twist can be messy, it all evens out in the knot part of it.

Next, all you need to do is take the roll of hair you have and knot it! I like to still keep my hair messy while doing this because it is easier to even out when you are done. After you knot it, take a shine serum and run it through any areas of frizziness. This will smooth it out and give it a hint of shine!

I like to put a headband in once I am done with it just to give some extra control. I hope you all enjoyed this short and sweet post on my new go to hairstyle!

If you want a say in your favorite types of posts, you can by voting on our poll at the top right side of the page. I am also super excited to do my second post of the day! What beauty trend am I going to run with next? You will just have to check back and see! Here is a hint: It uses two colors, but can use more then two products. Thanks for reading!

Makeup Idea!

If you are going makeup shopping, and you can't decide what makeup to try, I'm here to help.

LIMITLESS 15 HOUR WEAR CREAM SHADOWFirst, a very sheer shimmery gold eyeshadow looks very good. I saw a girl at school wear this and it looks fantastic.

I also suggest using this eyeshadow from MAC cosmetics called arena. A light brown eyeshadow can work wonders, and it also looks very natural.

Now onto the lipgloss
Ok, first I suggest using the lipgloss afterglow from smashbox.

Next try the lipgloss Enchantee by MAC Comsmetics. I have never tried this, but Perfectly pink loves♥ this company.

Finally the lipgloss Pout from Smashbox is gorgeous. This is my favorite. I actually own this, and I wear it all the time!

I hoped this helped, please comment and tell me what you think! Also tell your friends about us because when we get 2,000 viewers we will have a contest!

Super Sale!

Hey Everyone!

I am so excited to share my new discovery with you! Forever 21 is one of my favorite stores, in, probably history. They have cute clothes, great prices, and amazing jewelry! I was looking for new spring/summer dresses and found the test ones ever! They got in a whole bunch of new ones, but I really wanted something brighter, something fun! I just was not finding what I was looking for, so I decided to check out the sale section. I adore the dresses that I found! Here they are!

I love this whole ensemble! The bright pops of color are striking against the white, and the belt adds the perfect beachy twist! I am also loving the way that Forever 21 is styling a lot of the model's hair; the top knot/messy bun is so simple and chic.

This tropical sundress is so pretty! I would probably wear a cami under this one because the neckline is kind of low. I would do a bright yellow to bring out the yellow flowers.

I need this dress. I am somewhat addicted to bright colors now, they just give me such a boost! I would love to wear this with some small yellow wedges, they would bring everything together!

If you want a more toned down option, this scalloped hem dress is the perfect one for you! You could have a ton of fun with shoes on this dress, you could use a bold red or a vibrant teal. I would put some wooden bangles to add something extra.

Last but not least, I found this adorable summery floral dress. The ocean blue and the white have such a beautiful contrast, it is impossible to pass up! The white straps would pop against a summer tan, and it will work for both spring and summer! This would be super cute to pair with some braided silver sandals.

I hope you enjoyed this spring/summer dress post! Tell me which one is your favorite, and what your favorite bright color for spring! Also, be sure to vote on our favorite post poll, and follow us for more tips, tricks, and fashion secrets!

This is the first one. It also come in a navy/purple color. It's bigger than it looks in the picture, and it would be an awesome bag for a sleepover. (Infact I am going to use it for my sleepover with perfectly pink.) This bag is from Aerpostale

This next one is a perfect beach bag with plenty of room for towels, and bathing suits. But since school is still going on, you can use it for school too. This bag is also from Aeropostale.

Aero Swim Tote - Aéropostale®

This bag is from Forever 21 and i think the floral prints are so cute. This bag will definetly grab some attention.

Vera Bradley - Tote
This bag is from Vera Bradley and the print is called the Island Blooms. I really like Vera Bradley, but I don't always like all of the prints. Sometimes they can be too old lady. But, this print is totally cool.

Waka Waka!

Hey everyone!

You all excited for the Hunger Games? We are! Glitter Girl and I had an interesting experience today. We somehow were asked to choreograph a routine for some friends. Of course, we said yes, we love to dance and teach! So we were practicing it, and you can probably guess what song it was from by the title of this post, it was Waka Waka! You know, Shakira's song for the 2010 Fifaworld cup? Ah-mazing, by the way.

Anyways, we were trying to collaborate our ideas when we had a Zumba expert teach us the Zumba dance to it! After many failed attempts, we got a decent start on the dance.

This relates to this post because this was how I got inspired! African prints are everywhere now, I will show you some of my favorites!

This is a watercolor tribal print dress from Forever 21. This can be worn is so many ways, I think it is a great way to jump into the trend!

This tribal print top is also from Forever 21. I love how this is clenched in at the waist, the solid stripe of color makes it all work!

This orange top would be super fun to wear with some jeggings when it is a little cooler outside! I love the mesh of the different patterns on this, it makes it really stand out.

This top is slightly more sheer, so it would be cute to put a white or brown cami under it. I love how Forever 21 paired this with the bright blue bottoms, this is a great alternative to jeans when you want the outfit to really stand out!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Tell me what your favorites are in the comments, be sure to follow, and also vote on our poll on the upper right hand area!

Selima Sun® for J.Crew Belle sunglasses
These are from J-crew. if you look closely, you will see that they are supposed to look like a ribbon.

These glasses are from forever 21.
This is definetly my favorite pair.

These are from Forever 21. You can probably tell
these are different from the other ones
because the frame is much skinnier.

Selima Sun® for J.Crew Sophia sunglasses
These are from jcrew. These aren't as colorful as the other ones.

The Perfect Pout

Hey everyone!

Today my friends and I were debating the perfect convincing face, everyone has one. This has kind of turned into my "yeah, seriously" face, so I have been using it a ton! I have found out that the key to this is to slightly open your lips a little to make them look fuller. If you do not have super full lips, this post will show you the key to it!

Lip Liner

MAC Staunchly Stylish Pro Longwear Lip Pencil is the perfect base for a full lip. It has just enough color to define them, but it will also prime the lips to make the product last longer.
I am loving this color!

Over the pencil, I would layer mac's hue lipstick. it is the perfect light pink shade with just enough sheen to make your lips look super full. This goes beautifully with the liner!

After those steps, apply smashbox O gloss! It will transform to your lip's natural color in gloss form! Over the lipstick and liner, it will be the perfect shade!

I hope you enjoyed! Be sure to rock your innocent face, and try this out!

Go Bright!

Trends from spring and season have to do with lime greens, electric teals, shimmery yellows, and zesty oranges. This trend applies to clothes, hair accessories, and jewelry, but I have been seeing a lot of it in shoes! Here are some of my favorites.
This open towed flat is super bold! It has purple, lime green, and teal stripes in it, making it the perfect accent to any outfit. I would wear this with a teal/lime green tank and jean shorts. A leather belt in a carmel color would also be really cute with these.

I am obsessed with these neon yellow sandals from steve madden! Eye catching and super adorable.

These navy blue gladiators would be perfect for a spunky, trendy look! I found tan leather shorts from forever 21, how cute would his be if I put these with that and a sky blue tee piled with bronzy- gold necklaces? Outfit  inspiration!

I am loving bright sandals for spring and summer, I can not wait to try some of these out! Tell me what your favorite pair is and be sure to share what your go-to bold color is! Love ya, glamor girlies!

Ridiculous Pet Pics

There are many different types of fashion, and today I am going to talk about animal fashion.
Not all animals like being dressed up, but when your pets do like getting dressed up, it can look a little ridiculous. Heres the first one:
funny_dress_up_animal_1We can all say that this dog is a happy indian. I don't know if the cat is so happy though....

A Cool Nail Design

Hello Readers!
On the Nicole OPI website, it shows a cool design you can easily do on you nails! What do first, you paint your nails a basic color, and wait for it to dry. Then you take two pieces of tape, and put them paralel on you fingers so there is a straight line that is not covered by the tape. After that, paint your nails again, but a different color. Finally, peel off the tape, and you will have a lovely design on your finger nails! Below is a picture of how to do it.

momager nail art steps
I got these pictures from the Nicole by OPI website. Thank you very much!

If you want, you can put the tape in different places, so the line is different on each finger nail.

momager nailart final
I also got this picture from the Nicole by OPI website
It has a very cool effect.
Infact, I think I am going to go and try it right now. Please somment and tell me what your results were if you tried it, or if you liked the post.

Blink, Blink!

Ever wonder how some people just have that huge wide eyed affect? Their lashes look super full and their eyes are huge. This is caused by a very nice special effect beauty product, false lashes! I hardly ever wear false lashes, they do take practice to apply. I use them on clients sometimes who have a big event and need something extra. I will show you my go to pairs to use on them!

My favorite brand to use is Ardell because you can re-use them. They are also the easiest to apply in my opinion. The ardell 110 in black are great starter lashes, they give length and thickness.

My next favorite pair is the Ardell 109. These are not super thickening, but they do add a ton of length! This helps you eyes look more awake.
Also, the lash band blends in with your eyeliner perfectly, it just gives it another layer of definition!

This next pair is super natural. It is the ardell 301, and it gives a ton of definition to your outer corner! These are super natural and very wearable. All you need to do is smudge your liner into the band to give you the bambi eyed affect!

I hope this post is helpful, comment and tell me what your favorite lashes are!

Makeover Madness

Hey everyone!

This is a new series I will be starting for my makeover challanges! I will post colors, styles, and different trends that I will test out and want you to try too! This is the first challenge, so let's get started!

My first beauty challenge is to play with the eyes using only two colors, but it gets a little trickier. One color must be a darker neutral, so I used modelette, a limited edition color from Mac. It is a soft brown color with a golden undertone. Here is the catch: your next color must be black. I used typographic from Mac, because it is slightly more blendable then carbon. The challange is to make a natural eye that you can wear during the day using only these two products! If it is nessiccary, you can use a little mascara. Here is how I decided to try it out!

First, I covered my entire lid with all that glitters eyeshadow.

Next, I took a 266 angled eyeliner brush and smudged a little bit of typographic on my upper lash line. Next I took a 219 and applied the same color to my crease. This gave me a harsh line, so I took a 226 blending brush and blended that out which only gave my crease a smokey look.

This still was a natural eye, and it was easy to do! tell me what you think of these challanges, and be sure to try this and tell me how it worked! Feel free to comment and be sure to follow for tips and more posts!

School Hair Ideas

Every girl has trouble doing there hair in the morning when they are rushing. To try and help, here are some quick and easy ideas that can definetly be done in under 5 minutes with only some clips, and a  hairbrush.
First, this is a messy side bun. To do this
1, Brush all of your hair, the out it up in a pony tail wherever you want. It can be on the side, up high, or a low pony.
2. Then take the pony tail and make it into a messy ball, or I like to roll it onto a cinimon roll shape.
3. Then take a hair elastic and put in around the bun. If you have very thick hair you might want to use 2 elastics.
YOU'RE DONE!!!
Ok, the next type is a side braid.

This is fairly easy to do.
1. Brush your hair and put it all on one side.
2. Seperate the hair into three strands.
3. Then braid your hair!
